The EVBOOST charging cost index

A public analysis of the charging infrastructure market based on aggregated EVBOOST data. The EVBOOST index shows the aggregated cost of 1 kWh at fast charging locations in a region.

The index is not a simple average price: it covers prices at different locations and excludes atypical or clearly erroneous values.

How the EVBOOST charging cost index is calculated

The EVBOOST charging cost indexshows the indicative cost of 1 kWh at fast charging locations in each region of Ukraine. It is neither the maximum price of a single station nor a plain average of all connectors.

The calculation covers charging locations with power from40 kW, where EVBOOST has tariff data in UAH/kWh. The tariff is first aggregated at the level of an individual location, and those values are then used to calculate the regional index.

So that the index better reflects the real price level in a region, the calculation excludes atypical or clearly erroneous prices that do not match the usual cost of 1 kWh.

The scale on the map shows the minimum and maximumindex across regions, not the lowest or highest tariff of an individual charging station. Some operators may therefore have tariffs above or below the values on the scale.

The data is aggregated and does not represent any single station. The index is used to compare regions with each other and to gauge the general cost of fast charging in a region.
